The person I’d like to talk about is my aunt, who is a very successful businesswoman. Recently, she has been interested in international trade, you know, growing her business overseas. She wants to promote her products which are seafood to other countries. That’s why she has traveled a lot especially by air to different countries. Normally, she will visit those countries. Some of them are European countries or America or some other countries to see whether there is a strong demand for the seafood products.

She has paid a lot of attention to the needs of potential customers in these countries and also tried to talk to some local business people to see whether it is possible to set up a company in these countries. She is very interested in increasing market presence in the international marketplace.

雅思词汇的学习重点？

1. 背单词最基础的三要素就是“音、形、意”（pronunciation, form, and meaning），三者缺一不可！这是因为，雅思考听说读写四个科目，单词的发音记不准就会导致做听力题时听不懂，在口语考试中考官会听不懂你在说什么；单词的意思记不住会同时影响阅读和听力理解；

单词的形态——form也就是单词的拼写，在写作中要拼对单词，听力的填空题如果单词拼写错误也不给分，阅读的时候如果不熟悉单词的“长相”，可能会看错单词，比如错把principal看成principle，影响理解，还会影响阅读速度！

2.背单词不能孤立地背单个的单词，要主动学习各种collocation和phrase，也就是各类短语、固定搭配，其中包括名词短语，动词短语，介词短语等等。最好的学习方式就是在文章、段落、句子中去找来背，这样同学们不仅仅会知道单词的音形意，还会对单词的使用方式和语境有更好的了解。如果在写作口语中能灵活运用他们，就能够避免中式英文表达，语言质量和分数就能得到提高。
